This is one of the first photos taken with my Seagull 4B TLR medium format camera.
In the picture - my friend Saya at the Beijing International airport, waiting for her flight back to the US.
Taken using Seagull 4B TLR medium format camera on Kodak Tri-X 400. Developed using Agfa Rodinal, dillution 1+50, time 14 minutes at 20 degree centigrade.
Scanned from negative, resized, adjusted curves and sharpened a little bit.
Many, many thanks to Marcin Gorski for his invaluable help, comments, advices and scanning the negative for me. Thanks a lot, Marcin!
PS. It's bloody unbelievable you can get such nice results and nice tones with a 300 yuan (30 EUR), old, medium format camera. I don't think I can get such a nice tones with my D200 and I suppose it would be very, very hard even with full frame Canons.
PS.2. Sorry for the cropped hand, I still have some problems with framing using that camera.
