Make Your Silver Lining

Make Your Silver Lining

Next time there is a storm look outside, take a good look up to the sky and just look at the clouds. Look at how defined they are, look at how prominent the silver lining is.

In comparison on a good day the clouds seem to be softer and fluffier.

Like the storm that my mother has been going through, it has been a dark and turbulent period, but just like the edge of a storm cloud the silvier lining is more prominent.

However life does not come with that silver lining, you have to make it; like picking a cloud from the sky and painting the edge on yourself. I have learnt from this period of our lives that the decisions you make affect the prominense of the end outcome.

Stay positive, stay loved, show that love and support and the line becomes thicker.

After leaving university and returning home i found that i was very tired, all the chores i undertook to ensure my mother could just relax and recover made me realise just how much my mother has done for me over my 23 years on this earth; and not once did she ever complain.

So i help in anyway i can, i accompany on hospital visit, complete house work, cook the tea, i do anything to take the burden of hosue work off my mothers mind and enable her to focus on recovering. This is how i help make our own silver lining, this is how i help bring that edge closer for us.
