The Beach @ Talisker Bay, Isle of Skye, Scotland

This place is something special to put it bluntly - it's not the most visited of beaches by tourists for the simple reason that you need to part around 3/4 of a mile away and then walk along a couple of country lanes to get to it (through the middle of someones garden and through a field full of sheep), but when you get to the end of the path and are greeted with a view such as this then you know it's more than a worthwhile walk.

When we arrived the tide was already in quite far so there wasn't so much sand on show, moreso the top of the beach as you can see is covered in stones which would take your ankle off you as you cross over them if you're not careful when stepping across.

Definitely somewhere that we will be coming back to in August when we're back on Skye, as the view, scenery and atmosphere here is quite phenomenol.
