It's all about being in the right place at the right time, or so I'm told. Here in Cordoba in Andalucia the two oldest buildings, the Calahorra Tower and the Mezquita have been eternally seperated by the Guadalquivir for over a thousand years, yet tantalisingly linked by the Puente Romano. Like lovers destined to gaze at one another for all eternity, but never to meet. The teenagers enjoying each others company under a single light in the foreground provides a contrasting human element.
Photographic note - Had to use an 8mm fish eye lens and then correct perspective in ps in order to capture Tower + bridge + Mezquita. This image is a composite of four seperate photographs.
Also wanted to get a hint of 'deep blue' in the late twilight sky to the left of the Mezquita.
