I spotted Clive, Robert's friend, next to a postbox just as fellow photographer Ant and I were heading back to work after a nice lunch break in the sun. Clive very kindly agreed to a portrait after I explained what the project was about. Robert turned up while I was talking about the project, and suggested I photograph both of them. He is also a remarkable character, so I didn't mind at all! They joked around the whole time, so even though I was nervous about taking nice pictures, I was giggling a lot too, as their sense of humour was right up my street. There are serious and normal smiling shots of Robert that I sent him directly, but this funny one is the punchiest of the lot!
I broke my own rule about never photographing two people in a group for the project, only one, but it would have been a shame not to include Robert too.
