Peel Castle on St Patrick's Isle

Peel Castle is a ruined medieval castle. It was built on an islet, St Patrick's Isle, at the mouth of the river Neb. It is thought the St Patrick himself landed and set up a monastery here.

Although a ruin it is a very popular tourist attraction and provides a foreground to many thousands of sunset photos. More info
