LDF 2014: Desingersblock

Meital Tzabari has developed a remarkable sheet material made from the fallen leaves of London plane trees. You can see some of the products she developed with this material on her website - including a chair and small table.

Meital Tzabari is a furniture and product designer, who graduated in 2013 from London Metropolitan, and has opened her own studio in East London,.

She says:

"My current project - which I call Re:connect - is an innovative and renewable material with great potential - I am determined eventually ti see it in full-scale production."

She adds: "But if you ask me what's been my best design project the answer can only be 'The next one' ”.
