Wallace China "Landau" pattern

Produced in the 1940s through 1960s, these plates were designed to be used in restaurants and diners. They're thick and solid enough for extra every day use, which may be the reason they've survived in such good condition for over half a century.

Produced by Wallace China, the pattern is known as "Landau". Why Landau? I don't know with certainty, but I believe it to be a reference to the designer Ann F. Landau who worked for Wallace China. I've been unable to find a patent for this pattern, however, so I don't know if it Landau did in fact design this pattern that bears her name.

I own so far about 15 of these. (And a small bowl for my cat's meals.) Anyone want to have dinner?
