Cheaha Creek.

This weekend I was in a friend's wedding in Anniston, Alabama. We had a great time and it was great to see those two married. The festivities were over by 5:00 and it just so happens that Anniston is about adjacent to Talladega National Forest and about 20-25 miles from Cheaha State Park.

Mt. Cheaha is the highest mountain in Alabama and the "peak" of it is 2407 feet (yes, I know, a mere pimple on the butt of "real" mountains). So instead of driving back to Huntsville, I stayed overnight at the hotel in the state park and got up early for some shooting.

This shot I actually took on my too Cheaha on Saturday night. This is part of the stream flowing in Lake Chinabee.
