Waiting for people to arrive for a morning This Place Matters photo shoot.
Built in 1876, the Hebrew Orphan Asylum is not only the first Jewish orphanage in Maryland, it is now the oldest standing Jewish orphanage in the United States. Additional information on the effort by Baltimore Heritage to preserve the Hebrew Orphan Asylum can be found on our website. Please help us win $25,000 for the preservation of the Hebrew Orphan Asylum by voting for us in the "This Place Matters Community Challenge."
