    That telephone could have been used in Downing Street! The reason I say that is that Whitehall is written on the dial face.

    I saw one of these recently amongst the exhibits at the "Scotland's Secret Bunker" underground museum near Anstruther. I got incredibly excited about it but unfortunately it was too far away across the room to get any good photos of.

    The Cabinet Office War Rooms in London cwr.iwm.org.uk/ have several great phones, including black ones with green handsets, green ones with red handsets etc.
