100 Strangers
Note: For the people I take photos of, if you're reading this, I want to thank you again for participating in this project. If you would like a copy of your photo, I can email a copy to you, or you can download the full size version of this photo and send it out for printing. I think you can also get printed directly from this this site.

This another Flickr project that I signed up for. I know it's crazy to participate in three projects at the same time, but I'm really motivated to see them through because they are useful in helping me with my photography goals.

If you're interested, this is the 100 Strangers Project, which in a nutshell involved taking a portrait shot of 100 strangers that you meet and request that they allow you to photograph them.

I really like the idea of this project because unlike regular street photography in which you often take photos of people without asking, this approach is about meeting someone and valuing them as a person and not just a photo object. It involves you at least getting to know the person you photography before you snap their picture.

So I'm anxious to see how it will go. It will probably take me a while to finish it, but I think overtime I will become less shy about meeting strangers, which something I need to learn how to do.
