Wood River Mountains

From Dillingham we head north and finally get into some elevation. These are the Wood River Mountains. The large lake system seems to nestle right up against the mountains. The Wood River and Tikchik River are the major drainages in the system, hence the name of the park: Wood-Tikchik State Park.
