Finding Nemo

Newer Older

Hey all,

Barely managed to scrape this up. I managed to get this done in about 3 days, so it is a relief to finally get it posted. For those of you who don't know, this is an entry for the MOCOlympics, a tournament style contest on MOCpages that features builders in head to head competitions against each other. This is built for the qualifying round in the category "Ring of Fire". My take on the category is a scene from the movie "Finding Nemo". You can refer to a youtube video to see the connection of this creation to the category.

Well, I hope you fellas like it!

Also, I tagged Sean and Steph Mayo because they drove to my house JUST to give me the trans round plates. Through an unfortunate series of events, I didn't even get to see them. This creation definitely couldn't have been dong without them and their help. Thanks guys!

Despite its apparent scariness, I thought the movie was a masterpiece. I absolutely love Pixar and Disney, so I love the old stuff they did when they were still together.

Your daughter obviously doesn't share my love for fish then. :P

Just tell her that fish are friends, not food.

    Hee hee.

The Little Mermaid came out when I was 11 or so, I think, and I saw so in love with it. I've seen a lot of the Pixar-Disney stuff, but it was after my childhood and before my children came around, so they weren't quite so big on my cultural radar.

All it needs now is to be placed inside of a fish tank at a dentists office!

Man, even homeschoolers can't catch a break from homework? What is the world coming to? Have fun with that, hopefully you're as fast at writing as you are at building. ;)
