THANK YOU so much for your comments and invites !

Did anyone miss me then ??? Think I had emigrated ?? Nope, much more complicated than that...trying to get my """"Broadband"""" connection sorted out with TalkTalk, now owned by Tiscali....believe me, perpetual motion exists within their ""Support"" connection has been running at a lot less than a third of 1Mb/ps, may as well have dial up running on Windows 95 !!! 'nuff of that boring stuff...

One of my fave locations, the Russell Burn, on the spectacular Bealach na Ba road that runs from Lochcarron to Applecross, not to be missed if you visit this area !

A rather bleak and austere place, you could be forgiven for thinking

it rather plain in the wrong mood. It is an untamed wilderness, frequented by the Red Deer and Golden Eagle, and receives its share of wild and savage weather. You can stand at the top of the Bealach numb to the bone....but you will know you have blood in your veins, that you are alive, and this place is exciting. Experience the silence on a still day, relax....or hear the deafening roar of the hurricane winds that have you struggle to stand upright.

Feel the Adrenaline.

Just my take on what it is like to be in such a place.
