    Challenge #2
Photograph an image which exemplifies the essence of altruistic behavior.
    — Steve McCurry

I dithered on this one for a while as I appreciate it may hit home for some. But for me, it hits the brief and so here it is..

Bit concern your hanging around hospitals, is it something you want to talk about.
I thought you had got other the differing from the man in the street shot as that worked really well. This will probably hit home for some, but it is life and sadly maybe death for another (but under circumstance which are unknown).
The framing is nice along with the movement, if I was writing a load of out bull *&(*^ I would probably relate that to a beating heart perhaps.

Thanks all :) I'd better point out that this shot is staged specifically for this challenge, not actually taken in a hospital. I have versions where the writing is clear but as you've mentioned above, the blur adds to the emotion of the scene.

Definitely hits the brief! And I like the sense of urgency conveyed by the out of focus.

Organ donation is certainly a great deed of altruism. And yes, the motion blur works well to give it a feeling of the urgency usually associated with organ donation

Love the choice of B&W for this image too. It really adds to the sense of drama and urgency. Excellent take on the challenge.
