There Are 108 Stitches in a Baseball

    Newer Older

"I believe in the Church of Baseball. I've tried all the major religions, and most of the minor ones. I've worshipped Buddha, Allah, Brahma, Vishnu, Siva, trees, mushrooms, and Isadora Duncan. I know things. For instance, there are 108 beads in a Catholic rosary and there are 108 stitches in a baseball. When I heard that, I gave Jesus a chance. But it just didn't work out between us. The Lord laid too much guilt on me. I prefer metaphysics to theology. You see, there's no guilt in baseball, and it's never boring..."

Here is a true contradiction that I should ask to another baseball lover. How is it that I can love baseball so much but yet hate the Yankees soo much. HAHA
I hope you are not on the dark side on the empire.
      This is a great shot.
Baseball is the best! I learned that a baseball had a 108 stitches when I saw the baseball documentary by Ken Burnes. I have seen it at least twice.
Who is your favorite team? Listen to me go on and on. Hey true baseball fans are a dying breed so it is good to meet another fan.
      GO ROYALS
K I am done rambling now.
      see ya

I think this is the best of these recent "macro photo studio" shots. I think a large part of that might be the subject. There is so much texture to the ball. The lighting is great on it.

I want a print of this.

Also, Elwood Photo, you are a true fan of the game. I'm always glad to meet Royals fans.

      And GO RED SOX!

I would agree with benmillet that this is the best of the series of light box shots. I really like it! The lighting is just right and the texture of the ball is emphasized.
