Finally, a small amount of sunshine! (plus lots of cloud)
Now I know what you might be thinking.... The sky has been photoshopped on... But I can assure you that it hasn't, this is the actual sky! The rumours of it being blue are true!
I am of course referring to the awful summer that we are having here in the UK. Tonight was the first night in weeks that I have braved the outdoors on an evening after work. I drove the 18 minute journey to Snowdon's ‘Ranger Path’ and then walked to Foel Goch and Foel Gron which lie around 400m lower and 4km NW of Snowdon. For the 3 hours I was out for, I saw no one else at all, this certainly is the quieter side of Snowdon.
This shot is taken from Foel Goch looking towards Snowdon in the distance and Moel Cynghorion in the foreground.
The view from this 'hill' would make a great panoramic in good weather, from here you can see all the major peaks in the area including the Glyders and Tryfan.
Thanks for looking!
