So I have booked a few days off work and thought a trip to Newborough Beach was in order. I have recently invested in a Hoya ND8 filter, I have the ND110 but sometimes 10 stops is just too much and you lose some of the motion. This shot was taken with a strong grad filter on the sky too; the grad filter really helps balance the metering between land and sky, something that is often hard to manage.
Of course you can take a series of shots and merge the exposures together later but getting it into one shot feels better to me.
This shot was taken at the far end of Llanddwyn Island.
As always thanks for looking and comments are always very much appreciated.
