Water Drop

    Newer Older

I re-did this shot this afternoon. Instead of using an angle from above, I shot these straight on, with a blue backdrop. I think they came out MUCH better.

Strobist: Vivitar 273 w/ ghetto snoot + bounced off of a blue backdrop, triggered via ghetto wizards.

As seen on www.strobist.blogspot.com on 5/29/2009

what time of container was this that allowed you to have the camera level with it and not catch the lip of the container in the field of view?

I used the lid for a cooking pan, upside down. It is really shallow and I even filled it up a tiny bit above the rim, allowing the water to be held in place by surface tension, allowing me to get right on from the side, without showing too much of the lids lip.
