Another one of the ranch peacocks, trundling about amid rocks and barns and old trucks. They were just starting to spread their tail feathers in display, but never seemed to do it when I had a camera handy, though I did chase them about for awhile.
At night, they roost up in the rafters of the large barn. Strange too to see them hopping from beam to beam over cows before flying up into the tallest rafters, where their tail feathers hang down, soft and glowing. Pretty neato.
