Taisei Kōki - Westomat 35 (Welmy M2)
This was in a terrible state when I got it, with so much dirt, rust and verdigris on the top that you could barely see the accessory shoe. None of the controls would move. It now works.
Made in Japan by Taisei Kōki, c.1956. Not listed as such in McKeown's, but it is the same as the Welmy M2 & Kalimar A (p.911).
Terionon 45mm/3.5 lens, 1/25-1/200 shutter. Odd aperture control - the scale is in a window on top of the lens barrel, set by a sliding knob underneath; the large frame counter with central rotating pointer is a feature too.
