Steamed Oysters

Newer Older

Steamed Oysters done two ways, with ginger and garlic, and black bean sauce.

I think I prefer the ginger and garlic. It highlights the taste of the smooth creamy oysters!

There's actually 2 sizes of oysters, the smaller ones being AUD9.99 per dozen, and the larger, almost double in size, were AUD11.99. Both from Springvale. Well worth the money!

looks gorgeous!! i would think the ginger+garlic one would taste purer and retain the freshness in the taste. =P~~~~~~~

how long did you have to steam them for?

err... until they were cooked! :P
i think it took around 10 mins. these oysters were huge! the large ones were about 7cm (3 inches)!
