Windmill Point Lighthouse

Located in Alsburg, Vermont--almost in New York. It also is a private home but easier to view from the public road.


Constructed in 1858, it is the northernmost lighthouse on Lake Champlain. It was inactivated in 1931 but became the first lighthouse to return to active service on Lake Champlain when it was relit August 7, 2002--National Ligthouse Day.
