    Nice one!

If you want to focus on heritage, too abd that an older car - the green one - looks better than the new one. The BMW 328 was after the end of World War II also manufactured in the German Democratic Republic as EMW:

Wow, I love it. Never seen this ad, if I had I'd have saved it for sure.

Progress is illustrated so well here, good and bad,

    1938 Roadster
    1973 Pillarless Hardtop Coupe
    1984 Two Door Sedan

BMW went back to a beautiful hardtop with the 8-series
but after that they've only made sedans or retractable
    (convertible) hardtops. =(

Silvester Humaj The 1984 is not a two door sedan, but a coupe. A coupe is not by definition a pillarless coupe. BMW always made coupes, until this day.

The E24 6-series was launched in 1976, the direct replacement for the green E9 CS. It was a conservative, compromised replacement for a daring, pretty car and by '84 it was showing its' age.

For the money you could've had a much more stylish Civic 1500S and thirdgen Firebird Trans Am with screaming-chicken delete. "And", not "or".

The 328 is so tempting and I've seen many of them, but given a choice, I think I'd have to go for the E9.

Oh, that mid-80s six series...wow. Gorgeous.
