Craigevar Castle

The exceptionally pink Craigevar Castle in NE Scotland.

Historic Scotland have just finished an expensive and lengthy restoration of the castle exterior, and the traditional lime harling used is this colour-nothing added for effect. Perhaps it was supposed to repel attackers by causing them to die laughing?

BTW, no polariser used on this shot (hence the glare around the windows etc.) just normal Scottish Autumn colours.....
