Otome-Tsubaki, 乙女椿 Camellia japonica f. otome
Otome-Tsubaki means "maiden camellia" from the fact that this form does not bear seeds.
This is know to have been introduced from Yuki-Tsubaki, 雪椿, which means "snow camellia". Some theory thinks this as independent species, then from that point of view, it's Latin name is Camellia rusticana f. otome.
Together with red "Kou-otome", this is much planted in the parks or so.
