According to the owner of this puppet doll, the head and body was made by craft man in Tokushima, and clothe was made by herself.

Hina-Matsuri, 雛祭 Doll's festival (or Momo no sekku, 桃の節句, Peach blossom festival)
3 March is the doll's festival day. Origin is one of Chinese season's festival 上巳節句. On this day, in each family girls dress up, decorating dolls, special set of dolls of ancient royal palace, with empress and emperor, 2 ministers, 3 palace ladies, 5 musicians and other 3 servant, called Hina, 雛. It is girls festival, whereas 5 May, also Chinese traditional season's day, 端午節句, is boys' festival days.
In this old town called Makabe, 真壁, Ibaraki, Japan, grass root originated ivent on this day and and weeks before, shops started to on the street opened house decorated with HIna dolls and any other dolls available. It beban 6 years ago they say. Such tradition for rich merchants to open house on festival term, displaying their proud Kimonos, or arts and crafts. Here they began to do this, perhaps they are feeling like to do something in declination trend of old shopping town, pressed by big shopping malls.
