Big Ol Teddy Bear Bee

    Newer Older

I have been trying to catch a snap of one of these guys for months but they are so darn quick, my patience finally paid off today. These bees are wonderful so big and fuzzy and best of all stingless.
I have been busy for the past couple of days had a bit of a unpleasant event happen and hope to catch up on my contacts photos and leave comments in the next day or so.

Wonderful catch of this unusual bee. I am glad to hear that they are stingless, as the one that I photographed seemed to be angry and kept divebombing me lol.

This is amazing. What camera did you use? I doubt my Lumix camera can get as close as this.

      Excellent shot !
I'm envious, I still have not got a Teddy Bear Bee but got shots of the Blue-banded Bee, Leafcutter Bee, Stingless Bee / Trigona carbonaria and Cuckoo Bee with my Panasonic Lumix FZ 18.
Does not compare with yours, though.Hope for better gear one day!
