30 Days of Gratitude- Day 1
I have always thought about starting a gratitude diary but never got around to it. When I recieved a invite from the 30 Days of gratitude Group I decided to jump at the chance. www.flickr.com/groups/gratitude/
This means that I will be posting every day for the month of November.
Today I am grateful for my health.
I met a man this morning that has a terminal illness and only has days to live. When he told me this I had no idea what to say to him. The only thing I could say was that I was sorry. He said to me "Don't be sorry or feel bad for me, I have no regrets, I have lived my life to the full and done everything that I wanted to" He definately was not afraid or sad about his plight and was at peace with himself
It got me thinking that perhaps we should make the most of everyday, and take every opportunity that is given to us
