2010-11-20 350D St Andrews 007

Tonight I went to St Andrews to see the Students' musical theatre putting on a wonderful performance of Spring Awakening.

I deliberately went a little early to try to grab some photos. When I got there, I found that it was slightly raining, and it was bitterly cold. And the buildings that I thought were illuminated at night, weren't!

So I used my 350D and the kit lens (18-55mm). I attached it to the railings outside the castle with a Gorillapod, and hoped for the best. I was quite delighted about how the picture came out... this image is illuminated essentially by a couple of streetlamps, about fifty yards from the castle itself.

And the show was excellent, so it was a great evening out!
