365 Photo Project — Day 206, July 23rd 2012. The light was awful today, and the heat in the office didn't put me in an inspiring mood. I needed something easy today: The Park. This seemed like a good idea, but without good light, the park is actually one of the worst places to be for photography. On top of that, my new Strangers project is making me feel more guilty about candid photography. Which sucks. Because I love nothing more than my candids. So here I was, at the opposite end of inspiration. Let's just say this is the closest I got to a good shot, and it was after the sun went down.
After I got home, I went wandering around Astoria in search of new food spots. As I was leaving the apt, it started to rain. I didn't grab my umbrella, or my camera. I just wanted food. Well, a half hour later, I had no food, was soaked, and had seen 2 different shots that would have blown this one out of the water. Such is the folly of man.
Anyway, not every day can be a winner, and I now have a few concepts for shots in my neighborhood the next time it rains. See everyone tomorrow.
