      Thanks everybody.
      It was built in 1864, converted into a shopping centre in the mid-1980s. But recently the traders were evicted and it was converted into a restaurant.

      Good capture. Surprised to read that it is no longer a trading place - but is purely a restaurant. What was the reason for that? The shopping centre use was surely more in keeping with the building's original use as a trading place.

      Snap! (Mutatis mutandis.) I saw the Corn Exchange for the first time earlier this year -- I don't think I'd ever been round Leeds before -- and was astonished. It really is a very beautiful building. Nice shot!

      Great interior, the top half reminds me of a sunset, with the coat of arms in the middle as the sun the beams coming out like sun rays and the cornice representing the horizon. Nice shot!
