I bought the K2000 on an impulse when my K10D went belly up and I needed an SLR on my upcoming trip. I figured the K2000 would tide me over until the K7 price dropped to ~$900 or so.

Imagine my surprise when I went to take a long exposure only to find out that it doesn't have a wired remote socket! It took me a day to realize that I could use the feet of my gorillapod to open the shutter in bulb mode. Not ideal, but it worked just fine.
