At worlds end
Fingal Head has to one of my all time favourite spots. For such an incredible location, it seems bizarre that quite often you will have the whole place to yourself!
On this morning I had headed off well before dawn but almost turned around when I noticed the amount of lightning activity that was about. Storms were brewing to the north and south as well as straight out to sea, but somehow the headland at Fingal managed to stay dry!
By sunrise, the lightning had subsided, but the remnants of the storm were still dropping plenty of rain out to sea. As the sun began rising through the clouds the area took on an almost apocalyptic feel. It didn't seem to bother the fisherman though!
