SkySong Education Innovation Summit
How do we educate in a rapidly changing world? How do we focus information and technology to produce meaningful change?

Arizona State University (ASU) is addressing these challenges through collaborative partnerships with entrepreneurs, educators, researchers and investors. ASU is creating an education innovation hub to provide a dynamic environment where entrepreneurs can find the resources to validate concepts, accelerate growth and reach transformative scale. This hub is designed to bring together in one physical and virtual location the most innovative companies working on improving education, the intellectual assets of the greater Phoenix educational K-20 systems both public and private, and investors of all types: philanthropic, angel, venture capital and large-scale acquirers.

The Education Innovation Summit will formally launched this ambitious effort April 20-21, 2010 at SkySong, ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center

This conference brought together 300 national/global education leaders including: government officials, investors, foundations and innovative companies and NGOs working on innovation in learning. Town-hall style panels of experts addressed policy, funding, trends and marketplace issues, and new companies will showcased their concepts for investor review.
