I once claimed to be a natural light photographer only--which meant nothing more than I was scared to death of strobes and lighting. After much reading/studying, a few Christmas presents, and a lot of trial and error, I still don’t know what the heck I am doing but I got this shot that I would have never attempted before. Now before you get in line (with my wife) to pick out a good asylum for me, I did this selfie shot for a black and white project 52 that I am working on this year. I don’t normally walk around the house dressed like a 1930’s gangster.
