Clouds in the Atacama desert
A few days ago clouds decided to pay us an unwelcome visit at Paranal. This is a rare sight in the Atacama desert; in fact, in the previous few days we experienced some of the lowest humidity values I’ve seen in my 6 years working here. So those clouds were definitely not good for astronomical observations, but there’s a silver lining to everything and at least I managed to snap some nice shots. What do you think?
