We are made of star dust…

A 180 Degree view of the Milky Way with our galaxy's core overhead. On the horizon green airglow is noticeable.

The modified infrared sensor on the Canon 60Da is more hydrogen-alpha sensitive, allowing the capture of more red hydrogen emission nebula visible in the core, and to the right.

 

The LMC and the SMC are visible bottom right.
