COVID-19: Sri Lanka

Muslims around the world are preparing to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, the three-day festival marking the end of the Muslim holy fasting month but the government imposed an island-wide curfew due to the corona virus pandemic. The Sri Lankan government has started lifting most of the restrictions implemented nearly two months time and is preparing for a full reopening of businesses and activities to avoid an economic slump. Country has so far reported 1055 cases and 09 deaths from COVID-19.
