    Actually? When I worked at a PL, we had a major problem with little kids chewing through headphone cords. They're kind of irresistible, apparently!

    We actually had this problem at our library - from an adult! She chewed through the cord.

    We sell headphones now instead of loaning them.
    More sanitary.
    Less chewing.

    Interesting. I did notice a grammatical error..."you child" should be your child. Sorry, I'm married to an English teacher.
