stranger #86: Jerry
i finally made it downtown to "The Imagination Station" to get my boards to paint for this community project. please please please go check it out and get on board w/ supporting their cause. facethestation.com/
(AND THANKS MEGHAN FOR THE KICK IN THE BUTT TO DO THIS!!!)
people here are just inspiring me like crazy lately.
with both jobs and grad school and all the responsibilities that come w/ all of this and other stuff too, i've been scrambling to keep up and was fearful i may not have time to participate...
but, i made it! jerry was at the houses working, as well as about 6 or 7 others. he offered to carry the boards to my car and was very nice about letting me peek around inside the houses. very cool.
in case you don't know what's going on w/ it, definitely click on the link and find them on FB. the part i'm working on (and my kiddos at school too), is to paint giant pieces of plywood to fill the windows of the hotel next door to spell out "face the station". lots of area artists are participating in it.
i'm so ridiculously excited about this whole thing. cannot wait to get my students working on their's too.
and btw, for all the locals, my letter will be a "T" and my students' will be an "N"... stay tuned........................
