Youth Art Exhibit
The beautiful art displayed here is a rotating exhibit showcasing work
created by students in Arts Council arts education programs across the

SPECTRA brings teaching artists to classrooms during the school day,
and high school mentees co-teach elementary students with
professional teaching artists through the Mariposa Arts after school

Students who have access to arts education build empathy, teamwork,
confidence, creative thinking and stay in school. Arts Council Santa Cruz
County partners with schools throughout the county to provide and
advocate for arts education opportunities, sparking the imaginations of
more than 17,000 youth each year.

This exhibit is made possible by volunteer advocates with the Arts
Council's Arts Education Committee, working for equity of access to arts
education for every student in Santa Cruz County.
