Business Backstage at The Philadelphia Museum of Art
Our Business Backstage series gives our dedicated volunteers an exclusive look at area arts and cultural venues while networking with like-minded individuals. These events also provide prospective volunteers an entrée to the four core, skills based volunteer programs of the Arts & Business Council as well as Philadelphia’s rich arts and culture sector.

On December 16, with attendance of 92 volunteers, prospective volunteers, and arts managers, our guests were treated to a behind-the-scenes look at the Frank Gehry 10-Year Master Plan for the Philadelphia Museum of Art (PMA).

PMA President & COO and ABC Advisory Board Member, Gail Harrity, welcomed our guests in the Seminar Room of the museum where wine and hors d'oeuvres were served. Our volunteers, then followed Gail and tour guides through what will be the new entrance for the art handling area of the Art Museum.
