CGTN The Lion Shows
A smaller version of the Children's Gift to Norway project is designed to travel across the country and stop and hold short receptions or viewings that are quick and easy to install. The large work is contained in the Trunk, and does not come out for the Lion Show. Instead, A smaller 10 x 20 foot piece depicting a Lion is exhibited, and was constructed and made from the same materials as the 50 x 100 foot main CGTN artwork.

The Lion first appears about the year 1200 in connection to the Sverre dynasty and remains in the royal coat of arms for Norway. The Lion is also a symbol of St. Olaf College in Northfield Minnesota.
