Amazon Waterlily Pavilion :: HDR

I have taken this subject twice before. The first time was when i just gotten my xti in April this year ;) & the second one was just 2 weeks ago. I've always like this first shot (see below) however it seems that there is a top but no bottom haha! a bit incomplete! That's why i returned to capture a full shot with my wide angle this time. The obvious difference between the 2 was that the 1st was shot in summer (steel blue sky) & 2nd in winter (clouds!) i believe that's the first thing u will notice straight away ;)

Nonetheless, i'm hoping the latest one doesn't look worse than the 1st one else i will be so heart broken LOL! Just be gentle with me pls :P

The Shot

Standard 3 exposure shots (+2..0..-2 EV) with tripod using Sigma DC HSM 10-22mm lens

- Tonemapped generated HDR using detail enhancer option

- Added 1 layer effect of 'curves' to increase the overall contrast

- Added 1 layer mask effect of 'saturation' (master) to slightly decrease the surrounding except the pavilion

- Added 1 layer mask effect of 'saturation' (cyan) to slightly further enhance the glassy pavilion

- Used 'unsharp mask' (as always) on the background layer

All comments, criticism and tips for improvements are (as always) welcome.
