Vroom Vroom - Racetrack Playa

The Racetrack Playa in Death Valley National Park is a dry lakebed scattered with heavy rocks. The rocks apparently move and leave a trail in the mud as the only clue (nobody has ever seen them in motion). According to one theory, during the winter months, when the rainfall turns the cracked dry playa into mud, winds are strong enough to cause the stones to glide on the surface.
