A cloak hook in the "Musiktheater im Revier" one of the most important theatre buildings in Germany after WWII.
Designed by Werner Ruhnau, opened in 1959, it is one of the greatest buildings I've seen here so far. A wonderful mixture of architecture, art, space light - you name it. Just wonderful. Last weekend Werner Ruhnau (he's eigthy five now) showed a bunch of interested people the theatre and told us many amazing stories about the buiilding proces and the work with Yves Klein and many other artists who participated in the design of the building.
I plan to visit it again the next days since there is a great exhibition about Ruhnau's work (it's for free and you get the opportunity to see this amazing building).
Info on Ruhnau and the
theater on wikipedia.
