Laguna Verde - Bolivia
Eduardo Avaroa National Park
It's after numerous hours travelling in this old SUV that we got close to the Chilian border. Among the different spots we stopped, this one was the most visually impressive.
Here we were, staring at this turquoise lake, surrounded by mounts in the middle of the middle of nowhere. Probably 4 groups of tourists parked near this spot, and these 4 groups probably took the very same picture every good book about Bolivia would publish.
Curious about the reflection this lake might show, I climbed about 10 meters on higher ground just to discover the perfect reflection spot. Stepping into the frame at this exact moment were these 4 fellas.
It is only after I developed my camera's film that I realised it didn't only show the beauty of this landscape, but also that nature is greater and bigger than men, no matter what.
