The Vacation Chronicles: Day 2
---Raining in Memphis.
---National Civil Rights Museum, packed to capacity. Inspiring. Angering. Saddening. Growing up in the South I still believe we have a VERY long way to go to end racism. No indoor photography – which was a bummer because there were some very amazing, photo worthy displays. So many people. Hard to breathe, no room to move. Still amazing.
---Peabody Duck March.
---Mojito the size of my head.
---Beale Street and bbq and blues and booze. A cocktail called the Boll Weevil and another. It tasted like spiked pink lemonade. My liver may not recover from this vacation.
---Still raining. There must be a song about it somewhere.
